Featured Clinician - jake deitchler

- 2008 U.S.A. Olympian

Jake has been one of the most successful wrestlers in the history of Minnesota HS Wrestling and made our United States Olympic Team as a senior in high school. This is an amazing accomplishment.

Jake coached at our 2009 summer camps and did a great job. You can count on learning a lot of important technique from Jake at our camp, while also hearing his inspirational story.

Featured Clinician - andy voit

- 3x NCAA All-American at Penn State

Very few wrestlers are able to win All-American Honors three times and Coach Voit is in this elite group. Like Jake, Andy spent a week with us coaching at our summer camp and is great with kids.
After graduating from Penn State Andy became a commercial airline pilot, and he now lives in Minneapolis, flys for United Airlines, and coaches the Shakopee Youth Program.

WHat: Weekend Warrior Camps are intense, small group camps for the serious wrestler who is determined to become a champion!

Our September Weekend Warrior Camp in Minnesota was a huge success in 2008, and we will be returning to conduct another great camp in Minneapolis in just a few weeks. Make plans now to attend.

We will again be utilizing the spacious Eden Prairie HS Wrestling Room which has 5 mats and padded walls and is a perfect training center for our Minnesota Camp. Eden Prairie is a Minneapolis suburb only 15 minutes from the airport, as well as Mall of America and downtown attractions. We will have wrestlers in attendance from throughout the Midwest as well as a great local base from Minnesota. You can count on great competition for all age groups.

COST: $200 includes instruction, food & housing with a host family.
Special rate of $125 for 2009 Summer Chertow Campers.
The cost includes 12 hours of instruction & training, as well as your food & housing if needed.

We offer the following substantial group discounts for non-summer campers:
4+ wrestlers = $25 discount per wrestler
8+ wrestlers = $50 discount per wrestler
12+ wrestlers = $75 discount per wrestler

Innovative Team Camp Format: We spend a great deal of time planning each weekend in order to provide the skill development and training that is most appropriate for that time in the pre-season or early season cycle. Coaches who bring their teams to our Weekend Warrior Camps consistently remark how productive and beneficial the sessions have been in the preparation of their teams for the upcoming season.

	Ian Assael - Camp Director and Coach at Ken Chertow’s Home Training Center in State College, PA. Ian works full-time with Coach Chertow to make sure your camp experience is as beneficial as possible. Prior to joining Ken Chertow Wrestling full time in 2002 he was a very successful high school teacher and coach, developing 14 high school State Champions and 2 High School All-Americans.
