Coach Chertow,
I wanted you to know how helpful your camps were to me. I am a freshman in high school now and wrestling varsity at 112 pounds. I combined many of the new moves that you taught me and some of the pre-match mental preparations and defeated a kid that uses to handle me very well. I have went 5-0 so far in my high school career and have all of you on the Chertow staff and especially you Ken to thank for this great start this season. I will be at your Super Gold camps for multiple weeks this summer. I am looking forward to joining you and traveling. I know you can make me into a champ.
Thanks a ton,
Travis Clouse
Ken,
I had a great 5 weeks with you and your staff in your Super Gold Camp this summer. I have more confidence in myself, and I am getting better grades in school then I ever did.
I also still keep in touch with other wrestlers from your camp, and I learned just how many new people you can meet through wrestling.
I am looking forward to train with you once again this weekend.
Thanks for Everything,
Ryan Herlihy
Ken,
Thank you for helping me to improve myself, both on the mat and off. After attending your camps the last two summers I went from last in the district to third in state. I was able to do this through hard work, competitive drive, and mental toughness. I learned all those things at your camp. I will be wrestling for Old Dominion University next year thanks to you and your amazing staff at the Super Gold Medal Camps.
Your Super Gold Camps not only taught me how to be successful on the mat, but how to be successful off the mat as well. In the beginning of my high school career, grades were not as important to me. My grades were not bad, but after attending your camp and hearing you say "be a scholar athlete not a dumb jock", I raised my grades from a 2.5 gpa to a 3.1 in a matter of one school year.
Sincerely,
Sam Hunt
Ken and Ian,
I am an All-American! I had 4 pins at the Nationals and placed 7th. I ended the season with 35 wins and 20 pins. Thank you guys for all of your help; I wouldn't be where I am without your help.
Thanks again,
Frank
Editors Note: When we met Frank he was a 12 year old boy in multi-week Super Gold Medal Training Camp, and he was in way over his head. He was pudgy and not very athletic or skilled. After camp we were not sure if he would return, but he kept returning to Super Gold annually. His hard work and persistence paid off! He is now a college All-American.
Ken,
Thanks for all the help you have given me at your camps. It helped me win in Fargo. I want to continue to train with you so that next summer I can win it again.
I'm looking forward to working with you this year. Thanks again for all your help.
