GOLD MEDAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENTAL CAMPS

YOUTH DEVELOPMENTAL TRAINING CAMPS
Our Kids Training and Future Champions Camps have been carefully designed so that the wrestlers have a positive experience in a closely supervised environment. Parents, we take our responsibility to teach, motivate and supervise your child very seriously. Wrestlers are not allowed to leave the hotel or campus premises, and our coaching staff and I are available to help the kids throughout the day both on and off the mats. Youth Developmental Camps are specifically designed for wrestlers ages 6-12.

Undoubtedly, the Best Youth Camps in the Nation!!

KIDS TRAINING CAMP
5 or 6 Day Options A variation of the Gold Medal Training Camp that is designed for serious students entering grades 3-7. This is a step up from the Future Champions Camp for the hard core young wrestler. While many other camps conduct youth camps as an afterthought, We take great pride in our Kids Training Camps and the success of our students. We specialize in training youth wrestlers far better than any other camp in the nation, and elementary school wrestlers from across the country come to train at Kids Training Camp.

FUTURE CHAMPIONS CAMP
4 Days Designed for wrestlers grades 1–3 who have varying degrees of skill, experience, and attention span. We cater to the needs of both novice and advanced wrestlers, providing small group, personalized instruction. The Future Champions Camp motto is “Work Hard and Have Fun on Your Way to #1,” and the kids do just that. They learn the importance of hard work and aggressiveness while having fun and striving to be winners in all aspects of their lives.

Father/Son Camp Options
Parents, you are welcome to attend either the Kids Training Camp or the Future Champions Camp with your son. This is a unique opportunity to learn and bond together in a world class wrestling environment that also stresses fun, fitness, and fundamentals. We encourage you to attend sessions, take notes, video tape the instructional presentations, and/or assist your son. We offer a variety of housing and meal options to meet the needs and budget of your family. Please refer to the application page at the back of this brochure and/or contact us today to learn more. We look forward to providing you and your child with a memorable learning experience.

FEEDBACK

Dear Mr. Chertow,

Thank you for the time you spent with my six year old son, Michael, at the Penn State meet this past Saturday. (You sat beside us for a little while, and you spoke with him, encouraged him, and signed his program, both on the cover and on the inside, and allowed me to take a photograph of you and him together.) It truly meant a lot to both of us, and helped make is day a great experience. You helped boost his self-esteem, and his goals by your small acts of kindness.

Michael also expressed interest in attending one of your youth camps... so, God willing, that will be in the plans. Until we/he see(s) you again, continue encouraging these young youth as you did with Michael. It means a lot to these little guys.

Congratulations on your All-American and Academic All-American recognition yesterday!

Again, thank you so very much for helping to make a little boy feel very special.

Sincerely,
Holly M Skiles

Ken,

Your coaching and the coaches at your camps have had a huge impact on me. Thank you for teaching me so many great techniques and the intensity it takes to be a champion on the mats and in life.

Ken

I spent over a dozen weeks at your camps with my sons to help them learn our sport and perfect a wide array of techniques. We stayed after sessions picking the brains of Olympic and NCAA Champions every week. Thank you for providing us the opportunity to work with outstanding coaches and wrestlers like you, Kendall Cross, Brandon Slay, and so many others.

My son just finished the Kids Training Camp in Indianapolis. He is 10 years old and it was his first time ever going away. I was very concerned needless to say. However, he had a wonderful time and the coaches supervised our son very closely. He had nothing but good things to say and couldn't wait to do all the new moves he learned on his 6 year old brother. He said he wants to go again next year and we will send him. The coaching staff was wonderful. This is without a doubt a wonderful, well run camp to send your child to. I would recommend it to anyone.

Thank You Very Much Ken for taking your time and energy to train these children.

Coach Chertow,

Just some quick feedback on the Carlisle youth camp.  My son, Trent, was in the future champs camp with Coach Frank and Coach Connor.  I would highly recommend both of these gentlemen to anyone.  They made an excellent team.  My son is relatively experienced, but because he is so small, he sometimes has trouble finding the right partner. He gets frustrated by this, but these coaches were quick to try and work him into the right groups. You and all of your many coaches tried hard to spend a fair amount of time with all the kids, especially the ones that were really trying to learn and work.

Trent filled out the Academic All-American essay again this year.  He had a perfect 4.0 this past year. Thank you for recognizing the kids for working hard in school.

Again, thanks for a great camp.

Kristofer Snader

Ken,

Thanks for the great instruction this year. We have seen a big improvement in both of our boys.  The intensity level and quality of wrestling partners at your camps really helped prepare them for competition this year. I am especially grateful for the times that we ran across you or your staff at tournaments, and the willingness to jump in and help coach the boys in those matches.  The boys thought it was " awesome ".

Our sons were both area VI champions this year and qualified for PJW in Erie also both qualified for Eastern Nationals, where Beau placed 4th. They won a lot of tournaments throughout the year. They had a great year and are very excited about the sport.

Thanks again - The Bayless Family - Sharpsville, Pa
