Home Training Center (HTC)
Our HTC is for our most dedicated campers to visit us for extra training! Small group, personalized instruction and training is available for teams and individuals. Coaches and parents call (814)466-3466 for dates and details.

Our Honor Roll Section recognizes campers who have achieved academic and/or athletic excellence.

Matt Valenti

Our Academic All-Americans section recognizes campers who excel both on and off the mats. These wrestlers applied for this honor at camp by filling out an application and writing a short essay describing either why "Wrestling is Training for the Rest of your Life" or why "Schoolwork is important". The most outstanding applicants are recognized as Academic All-Americans and they win our "Be a Scholar Athlete, Not a Dumb Jock" t-shirt.

Our State Champions section recognizes our many campers who have won High School State Championships. An average of over 50 campers per summer leave our Super Gold Medal Training Camp and win State Championships. This achievement is the pinnacle of high school wrestling. For me personally, winning a State Championship was one of the most in tensely satisfying moments of my life. I still have vivid

recollections of the moment and all the work that went into preparing to become a State Champion. Congratulations to our many State Champions.

We are very proud of our many campers who have won National Championships at all levels of competition. Our "National Champion" section needs some research, but some of our recent National Champions and All-Americans are listed.

2008 NCAA All-Americans

Listed below are our Gold Medal Training Camp Students who were D1 NCAA All-Americans this season.  Many of these dedicated kids attended our camps multiple times. Fifteen of our most talented campers won All-American Honors representing 14 different universities from 9 different states. Four of the 10 NCAA Champions have attended our camps.

OH - Dustin Schlatter, David Bertolino, Lance Palmer
KS - Tanner Gardner
IN -  Brandon Precin, Angel Escobedo

Look for many of these wrestlers to be counselors at our camps this summer along with many other dedicated coaches, wrestlers, and clinicians.

Also, 2007 NCAA Champion Paul Donahoe was one of the many counselors at our camp last summer. He did a great job helping our campers. 

We are committed to helping our campers find opportunities to succeed and excel in college. Congratulations to these 16 who are living their dreams. Who is going to be next? Why not you?!! Let's work together to make it happen!

The Schlatter brothers attended our camps consistently throughout their childhood and are two of our most successful campers ever. Dustin and CP were in my kids club in Columbus during my years coaching at Ohio State.  They continued to attend our camps regularly after I left Columbus. They have both won 4 State Championships and are NCAA All-Americans. Dustin was an NCAA Champion as a true freshman, an extremely rare accomplishment.

- NHSCA Senior Nationals Champion, and 2007 NCAA Qualifier for Harvard.

Matt, Troy , and Robbie all grew up attending our camps annually and are now excelling at Ivy League Schools. They are outstanding role models for our campers as we encourage them to "be a scholar athlete and not dumb jock."

Jake, James , and Brad grew up training at our year round training center in State College , PA. They are now leaders of the Penn State Program - "Hard Work Makes Dreams Come True".
