Ken - I am a PE teacher back at my high school and I am the Varsity wrestling coach. Things have been going great. We had a great season last year (2nd in the State) and the future looks promising. I wanted to also take a moment to say Thank You. As I reflect back on my career, I truly believe that you had a tremendous impact not only on my wrestling career, but my life. You were able to communicate in my early/pre-teen years the importance of commitment, dedication, intensity, and many more essential characteristics that shaped my formation into the adult I am today. Preaching about being a scholar-athlete and not a dumb jock and intensity...that is what it takes to become a champion helped mold me into a student-athlete that went undefeated in High School (111-0) and ultimately a NCAA All American (2003) as well as a NWCA Academic All American. I could go on and on about the memories I have of training and spending time with you at camp, but we might have to save that for another time. I did want to say that I feel privileged to have had you be such and influence in my life and have been meaning write you for some time, but I am glad I have finally gotten the opportunity to say Thanks.
