Youth wrestling camps in Pennsylvania & Ohio.

Summer wrestling camps for young wrestlers with USA Olympian Ken Chertow, from Future Champions (entering grades 1⁠–⁠4) to SuperGold Middle School and Middle School Gold Medal (entering grades 6⁠–⁠8). Ken has run youth wrestling programs for more than 30 years, and he is still passionate about seeing young wrestlers reach their potential. Future Champions, the parent-child camp for kids entering grades 1⁠–⁠4, and Kids Training Camp, for kids entering grades 3⁠–⁠5, are open to girls and boys in both Pennsylvania and Ohio. Middle school girls have their own Girls Gold Medal Camp and the 4-⁠day Girls Technique Camp: visit SuperGirl. High school wrestlers: see the boys wrestling camps.

The Gold Medal Training Camp System

Pick your camp.

Third and fourth graders can pick Future Champions or Kids Training Camp. It's your family's call whether your son or daughter wants the longer, more serious camp or the shorter one. All camps offer resident and commuter options.

SuperGold Middle School

Two weeks in Pennsylvania for serious young wrestlers entering grades 6⁠–⁠8, in a small group with more personal attention. Week one trains alongside Kids Training Camp, week two alongside SuperGold.

Kids Training Camp

For young wrestlers entering grades 3⁠–⁠5, 6 or 5 days. The resident price covers your child and a parent, with a hotel room and meals for both. Third and fourth graders can pick Kids Training or Future Champions.

Future Champions

A 4-⁠day parent-child camp for wrestlers entering grades 1⁠–⁠4. Small groups meet each child where they are, with a parent right alongside. Third and fourth graders can pick Kids Training or Future Champions.

Middle School Gold Medal Training Camp

A step above Kids Training Camp for serious wrestlers entering grades 6⁠–⁠8: 6 days (Pennsylvania or Ohio) or a modified 5-⁠day camp (Pennsylvania only). Attend without a parent, or commute and stay with a parent.

A day at camp

Train. Eat. Rest. Repeat.

Camp is highly supervised, with an 8:1 staff-to-camper ratio, and 6:1 in youth camps. Campers entering 5th grade and below need a parent staying with them to be a resident camper.

  • A hot breakfastThree meals a day, starting with a hot breakfast buffet. Campers, counselors and coaches eat together.
  • Small groupsOlympians and NCAA champions teach in small groups. Then your wrestler drills each move until the details are right, from the setup to the finish.
  • A parent alongsideFuture Champions campers follow the same camp schedule, with a parent right alongside them.
  • Lodging for younger campersKids Training Camp's resident price covers your child and a parent, with a hotel room and meals for both. Future Champions (entering grades 1⁠–⁠4) requires a parent, and its resident fee includes a private room for parent and child.
  • Camp nurseWe hire a camp nurse for the length of camp, and they are always highly trained.
  • Lights out at 10 p.m.Assigned counselors take roll at every session and run bed checks every night. Lights out at 10 p.m.
